Colfax Church of the Nazarene is located on the beautiful hills of the Palouse. It is located across the street from the high school and a block from the elementary school and can be seen from Highway 195 across the canal on the north end of town. Our Pastor, Don Moore and his wife Peg just marked 20 years of ministry in Colfax on December 2, 2007. They have two grown children living in the Boise, ID area, and they are the proud grandparents of two boys. Carla Hall leads our morning worship. She is married to Dean and they have four children living at home: Carmen, Cacey, Dylan and Dane. We Believe In one God - the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. That the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living. That man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually. That the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost. That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin. That believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also the the entire sanctification of believers. That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgement will take place.
